About The Artist
Brianne Burnell is an abstract expressionist artist known for her deep understanding of colour and expressive mark-making techniques. Her work is dynamic and layered, inviting viewers to get lost in the movement, texture, and colour story. A fine artist, muralist, and children’s toy designer, Brianne brings a playful perspective to every project she works on.
Brianne’s artwork has been showcased in exhibitions across Toronto, Hamilton, San Francisco, and Kitchener. She regularly leads workshops focused on abstraction and experimental mark-making and has delivered guest lectures for York University’s Professional Learning: Visual Arts program, and Brooklyn Art Library.
Brianne’s work continues to evolve while staying true to her core: creating artwork that is uplifting, experimental, and joyful.
